My New and Easy Nighttime Skincare Routine!

Morning Dolls!!

So yesterday I kinda went on a (HUGE) shopping spree at Marshalls. For those who don't know what Marshalls is, it's a store that has designer things on sale. They're mostly products from a previous season, and they sell it at a discount price. And I'm all about savings!!

Besides the huge amount of clothes that I ended up buying (I might make a post about that later.) I also bought some beauty products. They actually had a huge section, which was surprising. Among the beauty products, I singled out some skincare products.

For a beauty blogger, I'm pretty terrible at keeping up with a skincare routine. But after I found out how amazing these products were, I'm definitely going to make time for it!!

So I purchased these three things. The first thing is the Elizabeth Arden Refining Toner Lotion (left). This stuff is amazing! You simply put it on a cotton swab and sweep it across your skin to get ride of lingering traces of any cleansers and make up. The second thing is Elizabeth Arden Clear the Way Mask (center). You just apply this mask to damp skin and gently massage. Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse! And finally the H20 Anti-Acne Exfoliating Cleansing Pads (right). Just take out a pad and sweet it over your face and neck. And wah-lah!

After I used all three of these products my face was so smooth! Like smoother than a baby's bottom! And I woke up this morning and it's still just as smooth. Plus the blemish I did have, is fading more than it was so before. So these products are definitely a win-win. Plus I got them all for a huge bargain.

What are your nighttime skin routines?

MaryJane Fashion Wishlist: Spring Edition

BONJOUR DOLLS!

Today I'm going to share with you my wish list from MaryJane Fashion! If you haven't heard of them, they're an extremely cute fashionista site, that sells woman's clothing, men's clothing, cosmetics and accessories. They're based out of the UK (so you're lucky if you live over there!) and they have clothes to support the biggest trends today!

I really like their website because they have an amazing look book and trend page, that helps you piece together any outfit that you'd like to wear. Plus their models and photographs are beautiful and vibrant.

Let's get to the wish list, shall we?

1. Neon Yellow Striped Varsity Jacket- £19.99
2. Camouflage Army Skull Print Vest Tank- £4.99
3. Spike Military Boots- £25.00
4. Coral Fair Isle Island Printed Onesie- £12.99

The varsity jacket style (#1) is a very popular style today. You can easily dress it down with a pair of jeans and flats or you can dress up with a skirt and some heels. The Camo shirt (#2) is just simply amazing. Lately I've been dressing on the edgier side, so I love the skulls mixed in! This would go great with some disco pants or faux leather leggings! But let's take a second to talk about these boots (#3)! They are simply amazing. They have a Doc Martin style to them with some added spikes and studs on the back for some edge. I desperately want these now. And finally we have this adorable and comfortable onesie (#4). I love the bright coral color and the fact that it has a hood! If I had this little baby, I probably would never take it off!

Oz: The Great and Powerful Review

My beautiful cousin Carrie and I decided to have a girls date night and see no other than the very very handsome James Franco. Whom we'd both decided that he's on our "I'd leave _____ for:" list, haha. Not only did we indulge in some eye candy, we also overdid it on the calories.

Lets start with the basic storyline:

Oscar or Oz (James Franco), a carnival magician, is a amorous guy who desires to be something great in life and not settle. A tornado randomly rips through the area which the carnival is stationed and Oscar hops into a hot air balloon and is whirled away to the Land of Oz. When he lands he meets Theodora (Played by Mila Kunis), who tells him that he is the wizard from a prophecy, and that he is to stop the evil witch, save the people and become the King of the Emerald City. Oz doesn't believe that he's a wizard simply because he is a con man, but greed sets in and he decides to play along with "wizard" business.

I don't want to spoil too much of the story, so I'm going to list the pros and cons of the movie.

Pros:
1. I loved the transition from black & white to color like in the original.
2. The musical score was simply amazing.
3. Mila Kunis transitioned her character very well, prosthetics and all.
4. I like the parallels that were made from beginning to end.
5. The minor (supporting) roles were my favorite, like Finley and the China Girl.
6. It made a great prequel to the Original Wizard of Oz film.

Cons:
1. Although I love James Franco, sometimes he seemed a bit off.
2. Some scenes were shot for 3D which threw off the movie a bit, in my eyes.
3. I think the film could have been more serious. It seemed like a big spoof or parody at times.
4. There were some "1st person RollerCoaster" shots that were just irritating.
5. Weirdly, I feel that Glinda could have been cast better.

Overall I feel like this movie was a 3.5/5 stars. I definitely recommend seeing it. I'm still iffy on where I stand with the film overall to how it will sit in the film history.

Have you seen Oz: The Great and Powerful yet?! How did you like it?

Glossybox Mag

Besides their products this month, I particularly enjoyed their Magazine. It features a travel guide, international style icons and best celebrity looks featuring top editor picked products. Out of everything though, my favorite part was the exposes they gave on certain cities of the world.

1. ROME
Capital of Italy and one of the Glossybox's headquarters, Rome has magnificent art and architecture. They give the top three Dining places which are Roma Spartia, Ginger, and Pastificio San Lorenzo.

2. PARIS
Considered to be fashion capital of the world, there is no surprise that Glossybox has one of their headquarters here. It's an uber chic city which is every fashionista's dream shopping place. They name three top hotels which are Mama Shelter, Jules Et Jim, and Hotel Amour.

3. MADRID
The busy boulevards of the Spanish capital are filled with jewelers, fashion retailers and boutiques. Not to mention another Glossybox headquarter! The top three art spots to visit in Madrid are Cristobal Balenciaga Museum, Circulo de Bellas Artes, and Museo Del Traje.

Starting out right

Hello lovelies!

So I've decided that Tumblr wasn't just doing it for me anymore. I wanted to have a real (big-girl) blog where I can share my thoughts on beauty products, styles, or just inspirational pieces in general. THUS my ittybritty blog was born.

Since this is just my opening post, I don't really know much more of what to say. But before I get into some beauty products, let me try. It's raining cats and dogs right now! No...that's not good enough. Hm, I finally got my desk and blogging area set up in my bedroom! No...that won't do either. How about I just shut my trap and get to the good stuff, yeah? I'm sure you'd all appreciate my useless, random babble to just....stop. Okay, yeah.

These are a few products that I've been completely obsessed with lately. They're a part of my daily makeup/body routine (Which I'll probably do a video on later, but for now...)
  • EOS Shave Cream ultra moisturizing with natural aloe and shea butter; pomegranate raspberry-- I absolutely love this stuff. I use it as shaving cream and lotion. RATE: 8.5
  • Urban Decay: De Slick oil control makeup setting spray-- This setting spray really keeps you from touching up your foundation and makeup during the day. Keeps your face looking flawless! RATE: 9.7
  • Charlotte Ronson "Drea" eyeshadow-- This eyeshadow is amazing. Cream, beige, silver and black colors that blend amazingly. RATE: 9.8

If you have any questions about these products or want to see what else I use on a daily basis, feel free to ask! I have a talking problem (as you'll soon see in moi videos) so I could go on and on for hours about how amazing these products are.

Well, I'm extremely hungry now. I'm going to take my skinny little butt down stairs to raid my refrigerator and see what I can stir up for a good healthy lunch. Mmmm.
