About Me

B o n j o u r  dolls,

Simple Facts:
My name is Brittany. I am 21 years young, a mommy & a writer & a dreamer. My dream is to be pretty much like Ben Affleck. I want to write my own movie, direct my own movie, and star in that said movie. A girl can dream right? If I can't do that, I want to work with movies or film some how or another. I just love every aspect of the film industry.

Geography:
I currently live in the state of Maryland. I've grown up here, but moved my senior year of high school to the sunny state of Florida. I stayed there for five years until I hopped over to Mobile, Alabama and then back to Maryland. And now I'm most likely moving to Italy in May of 2013.

Blog History:
I've had a few blogs in my time. From tumblr (which I still have), to wordpress. But I've finally decided to stick to one here on Blogger. I often feel the need to write, and rave about products and styles that I have tried and/or have been obsessed with. And this is my own little piece of Heaven in which I can do just that. I use to write a blog on here about being pregnant and my daily life dealing with that. I couldn't tell you what that blog was, and quite honestly, it's kinda embarrassing now that I look back at it, haha.

Motherhood:
I'm a young mother. My daughter, Madalyn Rae, is two years old, and keeps my hands quite full. Which is why I love beauty products that are quick, easy but very very effective. She is just as obsessed with Disney as me (go figure) and she has major OCD when it comes to organizing her things. Somehow she always manages to create a mess though. The best part about being a mommy is being able to dress her up in adorable outfits and show her off. Because lets face it, she's adorable. Her daddy just recently joined the United States Army. So raising Madalyn on my own is hard, but also very rewarding. I wouldn't change a thing about my life.

Photography:
Photography is a guilty pleasure of mine, and a great way to make a little bit of extra cash on the side of school and being a mother. I love doing portrait sessions and children/family sessions. I think photography is an amazing way to capture memories and keep them forever. I find myself growing in my technique as I explore inspiration and find new photographers who already have a grounding in this industry. It's always interesting to see how other photographers are using their skill and how they also express themselves.

I just wanted to take the time to thank all of you, for striking an interest in the things I'm writing, my photography and actually paying attention to my annoying rambles.
