July's Empties

There has been this hype going around of people making videos of products they have COMPLETELY used up, or "emptied". And since I had a few things laying around that I still haven't had time to recycle yet, I decided that I should make one of these tagged videos.

It's nothing really special at all, just simple review of the product and why I liked it/or why I didn't. If you've tried any of these products and your review is different from mine, PLEASE COMMENT, and let me know so I can let other followers know about your likes/dislikes.

I've also been in a terrible mood lately. And sometimes I really just can't get out of my funk. One day as I was driving around, I decided to stop at a local Barnes and Noble to get a Starbuck's drink and to just relax. As I was sitting in one of the most comfortable chairs (ever!!) I saw out of the corner of my eye a book in the "Self Improvement" Section. Getting off of my lazy ass was hard, but once I did, I walked over, retrieved the book and began to read it.

At the end of the day, I've purchased the said book called, "The Bounce Back Book"!

And it is quit literally the best book on self improvement that I've ever read. So if you're going through a rough time in life (bad breakup, lost a job, failing a class, loathing yourself), I really suggest you pick up this book! It's therapy in between a book cover. It instantly makes me feel like I can pick myself up and bounce back from al the hurt I've been feeling. Here are a sayings from the book. I'll probably end up making a full post about it at a later date.

How do you feel about the empty products I've showed you today?
Are you going through a rough time? Feel free to comment
and I'll give you any advice I've learned from this book.

Celebrate Good Times...

COME ON!

Today is my baby sister's 18th birthday!! Considering I'm still editing my July Empties video, I figured that I would just have a lovely little post about my darling sister. (Don't hate me, but she's pretty much my bestest friend in the entire world).

Like any sisters, Little Bee (what we're going to call her) and I haven't always gotten along. We've fought, kicked, argued, thrown things like pots of water at each other, ect. But the fact remains that she'll always be my little sister. And blowing up her dashboard on Facebook was certainly just not ENOUGH! Being the most awesomest big sister that I am, it was my right to post embarrassing pictures of us through the years and sending her notifications through the roof!

We may have always fought with each other, but the fact remains when one of us needed each other, we were there. She was the first person that I told when I found out I was pregnant with Princess M. When some boy in the neighborhood pushed her down, I was the one who jumped on his back like a gorilla and beat the living crap out of him. When some girl bit me in the arm, she pounced on her and punched her. (What can I say? We were violent.)

But this year I'm five hours away from her so I can't celebrate properly. So instead I decided to use videos from a month ago on vacation and put a little Vlog/montage together. I miss her like crazy and this video will just have to suffice!

Enjoy!

Je m'en fous!

"I don't give a fuck!"

Don't be alarmed by the title, but YEAH. I decided I was going to make random "about my day" posts. And as I was sitting here trying to think of what I should call these posts, it hit me! That you guys probably wouldn't even give a fuck about my day. So instead of just coming rudely out saying that, I figured I'd make it pretty with a touch of French. (French is by far my favorite language, ever!)

That being said, be on the look out for more of my "Je m'en fous!" posts about my day, my outfit, or just random things that I have on my mind.

 Like Swaggie~
Yes I like to grab my boobs for fun....
Can't go wrong with a White Chocolate Mocha on a gloomy day.
I always rock my baby Kors.

What Clothes I'm Wearing:
T-Shirt: Charlotte Russe $22 (on sale for $10)
Skinny Jeans: Forever 21- $15
Shoes: Charlotte Russe- $10
Bag: Target- $15 (?)
Gold Necklace: Charlotte Russe- $6
Teal Heart Necklace- Tiffany's- $150
Ring: Charlotte Russe- $5
Watch: Michael Kors- $275

What's On My Face:
Foundation: MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
Setting Spray: Urban Decay Makeup Setting Spray
Eyeshadow: Charlotte Ronson's "Drea" palette

So if you haven't noticed, I kind of went on a Charlotte Russe haul today. I bought two shirts, the necklace, ring, and shoes for only around $35. Naturally, I had to try it on and make up a new outfit! I find that it's simple, yet sets a statement.

Wake up in the morning, feelin' like P-Britty

There's no better way to start off your day then by getting ready. It helps created a "pumped" up mood, sort to speak. Make yourself up a little area in your room, or bathroom, where you can set up all your makeup, hit the tunes, and just enjoy your usual morning routine.

Here's a little look of my daily (normal look) face routine. Enjoy! xo.

(Sorry that I was rushing and my hair wasn't done quite yet. Princess M was out and about.)

So what do you think of the products I use daily?
or How does your routine differ?
Have a beautiful day, lovelies!

DIY: Ombre, Ombre, Ombre!

So lately on my tumblr, I've been having people ask me about the Ombre hair style. Since I've been getting so many questions on if I knew how to do it, I figured I might as well do it for my fellow followers!! So tonight...I OMBRE'D.

This morning I went to the store to buy my hair dye. Now since I have dark brown hair, I bought Revlon's Frost & Glow Honey Highlighting Kit for medium to dark brown hair. I figured if I went platinum blonde, it would have looked retarded, and I would have been right! If you have lighter brown hair or close to blonde, I suggest getting the lighter kit.

Here's the final look, right after it was done:

Ombre FAQ:
Put the product from your cheekbone (or lower) down to the roots. Leave it on for 20-25 minutes.
Rinse and dry throughly.
Second bleaching process- lower half of hair (roots)- leave on for about 20 minutes to create a gradient.
Rinse again. Shampoo. Rinse. Condition. Rinse.
Leave in conditioner applied to the roots for dryness.

BADABING, BADABOOM.

Now I went for an 80's edgy rock look, hence why the gradient isn't large.
If you'd like a more subtle look. Apply it to the underneath part of your hair only (instead of inside and outside) And for the second bleaching process, only put it on the roots of your hair.

Do you have Ombre hair?! Or do you want to try it out?
Let me know what you think of it!

Starting out right

Hello lovelies!

So I've decided that Tumblr wasn't just doing it for me anymore. I wanted to have a real (big-girl) blog where I can share my thoughts on beauty products, styles, or just inspirational pieces in general. THUS my ittybritty blog was born.

Since this is just my opening post, I don't really know much more of what to say. But before I get into some beauty products, let me try. It's raining cats and dogs right now! No...that's not good enough. Hm, I finally got my desk and blogging area set up in my bedroom! No...that won't do either. How about I just shut my trap and get to the good stuff, yeah? I'm sure you'd all appreciate my useless, random babble to just....stop. Okay, yeah.

These are a few products that I've been completely obsessed with lately. They're a part of my daily makeup/body routine (Which I'll probably do a video on later, but for now...)
  • EOS Shave Cream ultra moisturizing with natural aloe and shea butter; pomegranate raspberry-- I absolutely love this stuff. I use it as shaving cream and lotion. RATE: 8.5
  • Urban Decay: De Slick oil control makeup setting spray-- This setting spray really keeps you from touching up your foundation and makeup during the day. Keeps your face looking flawless! RATE: 9.7
  • Charlotte Ronson "Drea" eyeshadow-- This eyeshadow is amazing. Cream, beige, silver and black colors that blend amazingly. RATE: 9.8

If you have any questions about these products or want to see what else I use on a daily basis, feel free to ask! I have a talking problem (as you'll soon see in moi videos) so I could go on and on for hours about how amazing these products are.

Well, I'm extremely hungry now. I'm going to take my skinny little butt down stairs to raid my refrigerator and see what I can stir up for a good healthy lunch. Mmmm.
